Public Lands Picnics!
Authoritarianism wants you alone, passive, and scrolling. Real change starts when we show up: in person, together.
The Resistance Rangers invite you to host a community-building gathering to celebrate National Parks Week. The goal? To build networks of trust so we are ready for the next protest or action to protect public lands.
Find out how to host an event here.
Get updates on the damage already done to the Parks and and key messages and actions your group can take here.
Dates are flexible – find a time that works for you! Other nationwide groups are planning actions May 1 and 3, so organizing ahead of those could be useful.

Bring Parks to Your Local Protests
Bring the Resistance Rangers message to a peaceful protest event near you. Find rallies on Mobilize and 50501.
Here are some ideas for you to take to your local protests:
Make a park-themed sign. Encourage the protection of our National Park sites and public lands everywhere.
Dress in a park-themed outfit.
Share information about the threats facing the National Park Service and its stewards.
Share the Resistance Rangers website. Print out the QR code at the bottom of this page and add it to your sign to make it easy for others to find out more about what is happening to the parks and about our movement
Please leave places as clean as you found them. Don’t leave trash (including your signs) for someone else to clean up. If you march it in, march it out!
